labor day weekend

Well this is the best labor day I can remember.  Truthfully I havent given it much attention at all in all of my years of life. 
but this one I happened to go away for my anniversary and had a great time going to the drive=in movie and staying in a lovely hotel in Springfield.  The best part was my daughter coming over to show me her new engagement ring!  She is getting married!  Her ring is so beautiful and it is so wonderful to see her glowing with happiness!  Super wonderful weekend indeed.

Blog revolution!

  Okay so I haven't been writing on my blog lately.  Why? Because I am too busy reading other blogs!  I love blogs. I am addicted to blogs!  I find such interesting things to read about and look at and one blog leads me to another blog and another blog etc..  I wonder how many blogs there are out there?  I sure do find alot!  And I love so many. I was never really interested in the articles on the internet much until now.  My favorite blogs are the crafting and diy blogs.  They all give you free ideas and instructions and patterns on making the cutest things.  I keep thinking I have seen all the adorable ideas by now but no, they just keep getting better.  So I will post some links for some of my favorites as soon as I find out if that is okay to do.  As I said I am new to this blogging thing but I will lean and hopefully begin to offer useful information.  I will check back soon.
